The past two months have been witness to many exciting releases--so many in fact, that we did a double take in reflecting on all of the new launches that have come about this fall. (Wait, wait, did this REALLY all happen in the past two months? Yes, yes, it did!)
The Best Matching Set for Running Ever
First up, the amazing Brooklyn Pocket Bra and Madison Pocket Shorts! The Brooklyn Pocket Bra has a back pocket which comfortably holds a phone, your marathon race day gels, or any other on-the-run essentials that you may need! No bouncing of your phone (or anything else!) with this bra, so that you can run safely with your phone accessible but also distraction free since you won't have to carry it elsewhere on your body or in a hand. Shout out to Gina in D.C. who is a 4:30 miler and helped us come up with the concept of a back pocket sports bra! We've designed this bra to be chafe-free, and ultra comfortable without compromising on support. The ruching in the front is pretty darn cute too. Find both colors, garnet and fiesta HERE (while they are available!). We love making comfortable, supportive, and fashionable sports bras, period.
You may have spotted the Madison Pocket Shorts on Instagram in early May--yes, we've been dying to launch these, and were just waiting on the right bra top to pair them with. We love the Madison Pocket Shorts (which are essentially a 3 inch inseam version of the 5.7 inch inseam Rachel Pocket Shorts) because they have a no pinch waistband, they stay put, and they are made of a super soft and supportive 4-way stretch performance textile. They also have a pocket on either side for your keys, gels, etc.! You can now get them in 3 colorways: garnet, fiesta, and teal.
The Hanna Bra joins the Brooklyn Pocket Bra in our fall season sports bra releases: the Hanna Bra is an ultra supportive bra made for high intensity activities with X back straps, which can be paired with the new Madison Pocket Shorts in teal for a matching set. We are also just a wee bit obsessed with how this teal matching set coordinates about perfectly with the malibu blue lounge setthat we launched recently too.
Jackets, Forest Tones, and Long Sleeve Prints!
The Allegheny Jacket made its debut in both navy and moss colors: we did a few pop-ups in September and literally every single woman who tried this jacket on ended up buying it. It is buttery soft, has thumbholes, a drawstring hood (with special rubberized drawstring ends so they won't smack you in the face when you work out in it!), and is just a really cute shape. We're kind of glad technology has not yet advanced to the stage where you can feel products through a website BUT we do wish you could feel the fabric of this jacket! It is amazing.
For a softer fall tone, we created the forest matching set of the Belmont Bra and Belmont Leggings. This set is a special limited edition one, only available in this forest colorway! It is made of a brushed, super soft-to-the-touch performance fabric, and we love how the forest color adds a little something extra to the neutrals we all have in our workout wardrobes.
The St. Clair Long Sleeve now comes in two prints! Black floral and "Peace, Love, and Running" are both vintage inspired prints (albeit from different eras!). This top continues to be just a total go-to cool weather top: breathable, just the right fabric weight, and a flattering cut that is easy to wear.
We did several local pop-ups at our neighborhood Public Lands store and Ann travelled to Keira D'Amato's running shop PR RVA (where you can also shop our activewear in store!) to talk on a Sunday evening. We also had a combined pop-up, yoga class, and kitten adoption event held in conjunction with Louisa Humane Society at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard. There were 10 adoptable kittens in attendance!
Ann also did 6 races (including two 5ks, a 10k, a 10 miler, and a half), and got to cheer on Notre Dame Cross Country (her old team!) at the ACC Championships held locally to us in Charlottesville, VA this year!
