We love the mind-clearing, peaceful zen of a solo effort, but the real joy of sports is in working out together: with the support of teammates, you have more fun and go further than you ever thought possible. It is as simple as that. Workouts are great, but workouts with friends are just better: they rank highly amongst our favorite pleasures in life, and that is where we get our name. Join the relay, and run with us: we are excited to make your own running journey more joyful, and to help you go further and farther with artfully designed activewear.
Relay Active is founded upon the idea that really great, otherwise unexpected results can happen when people, worlds, and concepts are brought to work together: fashion, art, comfort, and performance are the four legs upon which Relay Active garments are built.
Our activewear combines the best of the fashion world with comfort in movement: our designs are feminine, on trend, and built for style and performance. With Relay, find a workout kit that is both durable and fun, fashionable as well as performance driven, bold and yet essential and comfortable for the everyday run.

Founded and owned by Ann Mazur, in Charlottesville, VA.
Ann is the lead activewear designer and runs all of the day to day operations of Relay Active. We are proud to be a one hundred percent woman owned brand, grown from the ground up with no outside investors and with hard work and dedication to making beautiful garments.
Ann is also the founder and CEO of Runners Love Yoga, the mission of which is to help runners through yoga designed specifically for them. Through Runners Love Yoga TV, she is a one-woman yoga filming and editing crew which brings accessible yoga to runners worldwide. At the original RLY (Runners Love Yoga) which has evolved to become ReLaY, Ann was also lead activewear designer. She is a 2020 Olympic Trials marathoner who loves racing all distances from the mile to 26.2, and whose own training unorthodoxly combines running, swimming, and yoga. While at Notre Dame, she was an English and math double major, and she founded Runners Love Yoga while earning her Ph.D. in English at UVa. She has been enthusiastic about running apparel since her early HS days when she had to wear denim shorts with a red drawstring to xc practice because no other options existed. She is especially passionate about soft fabrics, bold color combinations, supportive AND comfortable sports bras, and creating running gear that makes runs both more comfortable and fashionable. Ann got the idea for Relay's name after being way too excited to be included on a relay in 2019. An enthusiastic Pittsburgh native, Ann also enjoys finding ways to name garments after her hometown.
Phillip Robb, Ann's husband, is head of the Relay Active custom program. Phillip has been singlehandedly designing all custom cycling kits for teams around the world since 2009 and brings 15+ years of apparel industry design experience and cycling fabric technology over to the running world. Phillip enjoys cycling and mountain biking around Virginia, and has been peer pressured into actually really enjoying swim workouts at his wife's insistence. He has a yearly tradition of running one mile on the track under 6:00, which he does on extremely minimal run training to his wife's great dismay. Phillip brings both an acute graphic design eye and playful spirit to the brand's designs.
Ann and Phillip are also proud cat parents to Boo Boo, Butters, and Little Nuggie, their three adopted cats who inspired Relay Active's 1% back to animal rescue charities.
