In keeping with our passion for animal rescue, we are proud to bring you Kitten Yoga. Kitten Yoga is an all levels slower paced vinyasa class featuring a litter of adoptable kittens from CASPCA, the Louisa County Animal Shelter, or the Louisa Humane Society our local animal shelters and rescues! Come for the yoga; maybe leave with a new furever friend! Class is taught by Ann Mazur, founder of Relay Active, 200hr RYT.
A portion of the proceeds from every kitten yoga class goes right back to the animal shelter too! Class size is limited; reserve your spot today!
WHERE: Class will be held at our activewear shop + yoga studio located at 946 Grady Ave., Charlottesville, VA in the Dairy Market. Mats are provided if you do not have your own!
WHEN: Choose from different Saturday dates and the occasional Sunday, all classes are 11:30am-12:20pm with time after to play with the kittens! Please arrive 10-15 min. early to allow yourself time to get settled for class!

"I have gone several times to Kitten Yoga and it is a really fun experience, especially if you are a cat lover. We are looking to adopt soon and it was a helpful way to get a sense of the adoptable kitten's personalities. Ann who teaches the class is very thoughtful and generous. She makes the class easy for everyone so you can take it at your own pace. The kitten's are the definitely the star of the show!"
"This class was everything my heart, body, and soul needed. The class itself was awesome and the sequences were so relaxing and made me feel great afterwards! Then add in the kittens?!!! Omg pure heaven. There was one tuxedo kitten that was especially entertaining (“Altoid”) who was bounding all over the room chasing toys, ponytails, feet, and then he’d plop down to chill and just watch us. For a few minutes, he even laid on his own little kitten yoga mat! I died. This class was pure joy and my only regret is that I live out of town and can’t attend ALL of them."

"This was my first time going to relay active even though I’ve seen it at the dairy market. I signed up online when I saw a Facebook post about kitten yoga and my best friend, boyfriend, and sister all wanted to join cause it sounded so fun! Now after going we are so excited to potentially adopt one of the kittens and come back again! Ann and her husband who run the studio were extremely friendly and welcoming and Ann also led a great low impact yoga class for all levels! The kittens were absolutely adorable and fun to interact with so if you are thinking of Coming whether to adopt or just have great time with cute kitties I highly recommend going!"
